Synopsis

“It is not our feelings or our lived experiences which make us beautiful, but the silent tenacity we affront them with”
Jean-Luc Godard

The idea that something reaches its peak, not at the moment of greatest splendour, but after enduring, accepting, combatting, reviving. A piece about the courage and silent dignity which experience confers on us.

The ruinous; that which hides, does not enlighten, is ignored…: Mud Gallery explores the reconciliation with that most ruinous part. The process of acceptance and transformation of wounds in order to convert them into beautiful scars. Transforming the ruinous into ruin; that which demonstrates, enlightens, shows off.

Illumination, stage space and soundtrack, are discovered in an organic way, which forms an active part, influences and modifies the choreographic development. Stage elements which, transiting the same spaces as the performers, journey from the splendour of abandonment in order to reappear once more converted into beautiful ruins.
