Synopsis

In the attic of Elirale, Chloe, Oihan and Paxkal, the three performers in “Oa-huetak”, find the great book of Lodikroko. Like three children who find a treasure chest, they make the most of it with the eagerness of their youth. Lively and poetic, "Oa-huetak" is an invigorating show. Basque language words in the mouths of the performers open up possibilities for dancing bodies and a tangled musical universe.

Company

EliralE, a few mysterious letters, gives its name to this choreography company formed in the Basque Country in 2001 thanks to the choreographer Pantxika Telleria.

As well as works written both for the stage and the street (001, Firua, Eden, Andante, Exquise Exubérance, Hiruki-Lauki, 23:22, Gorpitz, H.), for many years its contemporary creative work has been aimed at a young audience (Kadira, Lodikroko, Otto, Ninika, Oa huetak) with the leitmotiv of proposing works with which even the youngest spectators can identify.

Pantxika Telleria is inspired by her Basque roots to examine free movement, without any commitment, with the challenge of finding the appropriate instant… Examining individuals in their daily lives, in their unique and, at the same time, universal stories: an initiative that led her, together with her performers, to explore more deeply the field of “movement-voice”, which she initiated with her work H. in 2012.

Apart from creation and diffusion, the EliralE Company has worked, since its foundation, to sensitise very diverse audiences: sensitising workshops in the school environment, expression and creativity workshops, public rehearsals in the company’s facilities and training for teaching/assistance personnel (teachers, social workers, nursery and residential home staff…).
