Synopsis

“Zeruko” is a new dance show, an astral choreographic drama on which we present a small collection of theatrical dance composed of a dozen constellations. They are in total twelve astral signs spun and woven on the basis of a corporeal language and its gestural sequences. A set of dances of a diverse nature represented within a new dramatized narrative, which becomes a particular vision of love, tragedy and passion around the great myths and legends which are elements of universal reference.

“Zeruko” blends a renewed vision of Basque dance, combining: dramaturgy and visual poetics with a pre-classical style of dance which gives a new meaning to this stage discipline. A task that the Kresala company has been undertaking for years of critical activity, recreating and regenerating the construction of a new Basque artistic heritage.
